Our Inspiration & Philosophy

Khunu was inspired by a passion for adventure and discovery, and a keen interest in the remoter regions and peoples of this planet. That passion has driven us to explore new ways to do business and challenge conventional company wisdom. As an organization we believe that the creation of profits and social good need not be mutually exclusive. Our bottom line is measured not only by the profits we generate but also by the positive social impact we help bring about. We give 2% of our sales back to the communities at the source of our supply chain in ways that allow them to sustain and improve their current ways of living through their own ingenuity. Some might call all this creative capitalism - we just think it's the right thing to do.

While Khunu is about making great products - versatile garments that people can feel equally good wearing high in the mountains or relaxing in their favourite martini bar - we also aspire to be more than just a clothing company. Khunu aims to inspire people to have experiences that change perspectives and adventures that spawn discoveries.
