Three-Part Video Diaries from Our Travels to the Tibetan Plateau (Spring & Summer 2010)

Our third video diary features a rare glimpse into the lives of nomadic Tibetan yak herders; stunning scenery, a one horse town, a liberal scattering of wild looking “cowboys”, and a soundtrack that would have made Sergio Leone proud.

The second cut from our video diaries collection shows crazy bus rides, wild dogs (and yaks), plus improvised roadside repairs and plenty of beautiful scenery. Don’t forget to check out the altimter as we head breathlessly onwards and upwards.

Team Khunu spent a superb week in Shangri-La on the edges of the Tibetan Plateau in the upper northwest corner of Yunnan province. Shangri-La has become Khunu homebase and a welcome point of orientation before venturing to points much further beyond for yak wool collection
